Getting started

What is WeiiGo?
WeiiGo is an AI travel planner with safety built in. Janet — the AI companion — drafts your itinerary, you search flights, hotels and cars without leaving the app, and it gets you around door to door, tracks your flights and translates on the go. Underneath all of it sit one-tap SOS, trusted contacts and check-in timers. Pack a trip and the essentials work offline too.
Which platforms is WeiiGo available on?
WeiiGo is built for iPhone, with Android on the way. We're in beta right now — you can join today via TestFlight, and the App Store release is coming soon.
Do I need an account?
Yes — WeiiGo uses a free account so your trips, safety contacts and settings are saved and stay in sync across your devices. You can create one in seconds when you first open the app, or here.
Who is Janet?
Janet is WeiiGo's AI travel companion. She drafts trips, answers questions that need your actual itinerary ("brief me on day 1", "what's left on my checklist?"), suggests activities and briefs you before you fly and each morning on the road. You can tell her standing preferences once — how you like to travel, what to avoid, who's coming — and she applies them to every trip afterwards. Don't like the name? Rename her in Account and the whole app follows. (Pro.)

Plans & billing

How much does it cost?
WeiiGo is free to download. The Free plan covers trip building and day-by-day itineraries, walking, driving and cycling directions, the rideshare hand-off, the weather on your day plan, the whole app in 31 languages — and the safety tools that protect you, which are free for every traveler, always. Pro ($9.99/month or $79.99/year) unlocks Janet and the rest of the AI companion — whole-trip generation, a preparation brief, daily briefings, local knowledge and your trip written up afterwards — plus flight, hotel and car search, translation, your travel documents, the weather and currency tools, trip tracking and travel stats, transit journey planning, live flight alerts, offline trip packs and trip sharing. See pricing for the full comparison. Subscriptions are purchased as in-app purchases through the App Store.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Subscriptions are purchased and managed through your App Store account, where you can change or cancel at any time. Google Play billing follows once the Android app launches.

On the road

Does it really work offline?
Yes. Pack a trip while you're online and download your itinerary, directions, transit steps and key info before you go — then use it all with no signal. One honest limit: map backgrounds aren't stored in the app, so if you want the map tiles too, download that area in Apple or Google Maps before you fly.
Can WeiiGo import my flight and hotel bookings?
Yes. Forward a confirmation email to your own private WeiiGo forwarding address, or upload a booking PDF, and WeiiGo reads it and turns flights, hotels and reservations into itinerary items for you to review before they land in your trip. (Pro.)
Does WeiiGo track my flights?
Yes. Add a flight to your trip and WeiiGo shows its live status right on your itinerary, with push alerts for delays, gate and terminal changes, and cancellations — with quiet-hours smarts so minor changes wait for morning. (Pro.)
Can I use WeiiGo in my language?
Yes — WeiiGo's entire interface is translated into 31 languages, from English and Español to 日本語, Deutsch and Français. Switch anytime in Settings.
Can I search for flights, hotels and cars in the app?
Yes. Tools → Book searches flights, hotels and cars, and "Use my trip details" fills in the city, the dates and the number of travellers from the trip you're planning. Results open with our booking partners, and anything you book can be added straight to your trip. (Pro.)

Safety & privacy

How does the safety / SOS feature work?
Press and hold the SOS button to alert the trusted contacts you set up with your live location — by push, SMS or WhatsApp, whichever you set for each of them. Every traveler also gets a check-in timer, a silent emergency mode that sends without a sound or a lit screen, encrypted SOS audio, incident reports and a live map of what's happening nearby, plus the local emergency numbers, your embassy's consular line and a medical-facility finder. There's also a translated emergency message you can show to whoever is in front of you when you can't say it yourself. All of that is free. A destination safety score and AI safety briefing are available on Pro.
What about my privacy?
We collect the minimum needed to make WeiiGo work and never sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for the details.
