Acceptance of terms

By using the WeiiGo app, the WeiiSafe app or the website you agree to these Terms of Service. WeiiSafe, our family safety app, uses your WeiiGo account, so these terms cover both apps. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to use the service in your jurisdiction.

Subscriptions & payments

WeiiGo offers Free and Pro plans. Paid subscriptions are purchased and managed through the Apple App Store (and Google Play once the Android app launches) and are subject to their terms. Renewals, cancellations and refunds are handled by the respective store.

Travel bookings & commissions

WeiiGo helps you find flights, stays and cars, and takes you to a secure checkout, run by our travel partner or by the seller, to book them. We introduce you to the seller; we do not sell travel ourselves. This section is about those bookings. Your Pro subscription is covered in Subscriptions & payments.

• Who holds the booking. A booking is a contract between you and whoever sells it to you through the checkout, for example an airline, a property or a rental company. WeiiGo is not a party to it, does not take your payment, never sees or stores your card details, and does not hold your booking. WeiiGo does not currently receive your booking back from the checkout, so keep the confirmation you are sent.
• Rules, changes and refunds. Fare rules, cancellation and change conditions, and refunds are set by the seller, the airline, the property or the rental company, not by WeiiGo. Read them before you pay. A price or rate shown in WeiiGo is a quote and can change before you pay; the price on the checkout is the one that applies.
• Who to contact. To change or cancel a booking, or to ask about a refund, contact the seller using the details in your booking confirmation. If you cannot find them, or something went wrong after you tapped Book in WeiiGo, email support@c2s4.com and we will help you find the right contact. We cannot change, cancel or refund a booking ourselves, because we do not hold it.
• Commissions. When you book through a link or checkout that WeiiGo takes you to, WeiiGo may earn a commission from our travel partner or the seller. We say so beside the Book button in the app and on the website. We do not add a fee to your booking.
• Your details. Your name, contact and payment details (and passport details where an airline requires them) are entered on the checkout, not in WeiiGo, and are handled under the checkout's own terms and privacy notice. What WeiiGo sends and keeps is described in the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

• Don't misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, or access it unlawfully.
• Don't infringe others' rights or post unlawful content.
• Safety features are provided to assist you and are not a substitute for emergency services.

Safety features & emergencies

WeiiGo's and WeiiSafe's SOS, check-in, location-sharing, circle and emergency-contact features are aids that depend on your device, connectivity, third-party networks and your contacts' availability — they can fail or be delayed and must not be relied on as your sole means of getting help. In a real emergency, always contact your local emergency services directly. You are responsible for keeping your emergency contacts accurate and for only adding people, or inviting them to a circle, who have agreed to be contacted.

SMS & messaging

When you use WeiiGo's alert features, we send messages on your behalf to the emergency contacts you have added and who have accepted your invitation. These are safety messages only — never marketing. WeiiGo never sends an SMS safety alert to anyone before they opt in themselves: a person receives SMS alerts only after opting in themselves, in the WeiiGo app (the unchecked "Text me WeiiGo safety alerts" box on the Accept invite screen) or in the WeiiSafe app (the unchecked "Text me WeiiSafe safety alerts" box when accepting a helper invitation, or Allow texts on the Circle page), and only at a mobile number they confirmed by code. How the opt-in works, with screenshots and the exact disclosure, is at www.weiigo.com/sms-consent. Separately, when you add or change your phone number, verify the number already on your account, connect a bank or card, or accept an invite sent to your phone, WeiiGo texts a one-time code to that number, only when you ask for it. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Recipients can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how messaging data is handled.

Your content

You retain ownership of the trips and content you create. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service (e.g. to store and sync your data).

Data sources & attributions

Some of what WeiiGo shows comes from third parties, and we credit them here:

• OpenStreetMap: airport details such as gates and transit links include data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License (ODbL).
• Wikivoyage and Wikipedia: destination descriptions are adapted from articles on these sites, available under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license. Each destination names its source article.
• Wikimedia Commons: destination photos are credited to their authors in the app, under the license each photo carries.
• Google: places, place photos, directions and map links come from Google Maps Platform, and are shown with Google's attribution.

These sources keep their own licenses and terms. Nothing here transfers ownership of their content to us or to you.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is". Travel information, transit data and safety ratings may be incomplete or inaccurate; always use your own judgment and consult official sources.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, C2S4 LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States, and the state and federal courts located in Utah have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the "last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you.
